Tuesday, June 7, 2011 09:52hrs. Rescue 2 responded to 1 Kent Ave. for a factory worker pinned from collapsed shelving. Along with Ladder 106, Ladder 108, Squad 252 one worker was found pinned beneath shelving that was storing numerous car parts before collapsing. Air bags were deployed and the car parts were removed to free the worker.

Monday, June 6, 2011 22:38hrs Rescue 2 responded to 919 Eastern Parkway for a fire on the first floor of a 4 story 100 x 100 occupied multiple dwelling.

Saturday, June 4, 2011 04:25hrs Rescue 2 responded to 816 Washington Ave. for a fire in a 4 story 25 x 60 Store and dwelling. At 4:26hrs Battalion 57 transmitted an urgent for a third alarm with three floors of fire going. @ 5:10 hrs Deputy Asst. Chief Mooney reports : 4 lines stretched and in operation , 2 tower ladders operating, all companies have been removed from fire building with 3 floors that have collapsed. setting up a collapse zone and we have extension into the cockloft of exposure 2 with one line in operation. @ 05:49 4th alarm was transmitted for relief purposes the fire was placed under control at 07:20hrs.

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 12:25hrs Rescue 2 responded to 3401 Clarendon Rd for a fire in a 2 story 25 x 50 attached private dwelling. Battalion 41 transmitted a 2nd alarm for a fire on the first floor , second floor and attic area.

Monday, May 30, 2011 10:08hrs. Rescue 2 responded to 230 Schenectady Ave. for a fire on the first floor of a 3 story 20 x 40 occupied dwelling. Battalion 38 gave the 10-75 . Rescue 2 along with Engine 227 arrived first due as the normally first due companys were at another box . One civilian was treated for minor injuries.

Monday, May 30, 2011 04:41hrs Rescue 2 responded to 209 Grafton Street for a fire in a 20 x 40 private dwelling. The fire was in the rear that extended to the first floor with heavy fire on the 2nd floor. Primary searches were all negative and secondary searches were delayed to colliyers mansion like conditions.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 11:33hrs Rescue 2 responded to 270 Empire Blvd. for a fire with reports of a woman and child trapped in the apartment. Engine 249 gave a 10-75 with people on the fire escapes.The fire was on the third floor of the 6 story 100 x 200 building venting out two windows. Battalion 41 reported at 11:40hrs all victims being removed from the fire escapes we have water on the fire . @ 11:54hrs Division 15 gave all searches negative the woman and child have been accounted for .

Monday, May 16, 2011 16:05hrs. Rescue 2 responded to 201 Hooper St. for a possible building collapse. Upon arrival two injured workers were removed and being treated by e.m.s. Rescue 2 did a secondary search on the rear of the building that was collapsed that turned out negative.The scene was turned over to the Buildings Dept.

Monday, May 16, 2011 05:11hrs Rescue 2 responded to 4th Ave. and 59 St for a person under the train. Upon arrival one male victim was located under the 2nd subway car. E.M.S. paremedic declared the victim D.O.A..
