Monday, December 19 th- Rescue 2 responded to 1100 Prospect Place for a fire on the top floor of a 3 story brownstone. While searching for people possibly trapped F.F. Rob Weidmann R2 Irons and F.F. Jim  Gersbeck R2 Hook became trapped. F.F. Gersbeck was removed from the interior and F.F Weidmann was trapped at the window (shown in picture lower left). A mayday was transmitted from the street as Ladder 132 Chauffer swung the aerial to F.F Weidmann in the window.  F.F. Weidmann R2 fell onto the ladder on fire . Ladder 132 chauffer grabbed him and patted him down bringing him down to the street.  F.F Weidmann R2 is in critical condition with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 50 % of his body at the Cornell Burn Ctr.  F.F Gersbeck R2 was also admitted to the Cornell burn Ctr.
