Monday, August 30, 2010 04:28 hrs. Rescue 2 coming back from a fire in Bushwick responded to 175 Putnam Ave. for a fire in a brownstone.The members encountered a fast moving fire in a brownstone with people trapped. as engine companies were making a push ,FF Myers R2  saw FF Demontreaux Ladder 132 enter a window off the aerial. As he was preparing to enter , the room flashed over with no sign of FF Demontreaux.L132.  Myers radioed a mayday and at that time Demontreaux appeared at the window with one victim engulfed in flames. All three were wet down by an engine company from the side walk as they were on the tip of the aerial .  As this was happening FF Dodenhoff R2 was being lowered in the rear of the building by a life saving rope to retrieve a victim located on the upper floor. FF Fried R2 also located an unconcious woman in the adjacent room. A 2nd alarm was transmiited and a total of 9 10-45's were giving.
